I’ve been a member at CrossFit West Seattle for 8 years! Since my first day, I’ve felt welcomed and included. I even earned a couple nicknames!!! Coaches are knowledgeable and fun. They support all ability levels and ages with tips and scaled options for all movements and workouts. The programming is amazing—great variety, crazy couplets, regularly programmed longer workouts focusing on cardio, and lots of barbell and gymnastic skill work.
Totally okay—you’re not alone! Many of our members started exactly where you are. Our coaches will teach you everything you need to know, from proper form to technique, and will guide you step-by-step through each movement. We prioritize safety, smart progressions, and building confidence. You’ll start light, learn the basics, and improve at your own pace—with plenty of support along the way.
Expect a warm welcome and zero pressure. Your coach will guide you through everything step by step—starting with a group warm-up, followed by skill instruction, and then a workout that’s scaled to your level. You won’t be thrown into anything you’re not ready for. We focus on proper movement, building confidence, and having fun. You’ll move, sweat, learn, and leave feeling proud (and probably a little sore in the best way!).
Absolutely—they’ve got your back! Scaling is a huge part of what we do. Our coaches are experts at adjusting workouts to match your current fitness level, experience, or any limitations you may have. Whether it’s modifying movements, adjusting weights, or changing reps, you’ll always get a version of the workout that challenges you without overwhelming you. The goal is progress, not perfection—and our coaches are here to make sure you’re moving safely and confidently every step of the way.
Great question—especially for those just getting started! If you’re new to CrossFit, we recommend starting with 3 classes per week to allow your body time to adapt and recover. As you build consistency and confidence, you can gradually work up to 4–5 days a week depending on your goals and lifestyle. Remember—quality and consistency beat intensity when you’re starting out. Listen to your body, and don’t be afraid to ask your coach for guidance on building a routine that works for you.

Yes! In addition to our daily CrossFit classes, we offer HYROX training, Olympic Weightlifting, and 24/7 Open Gym access. Whether you’re looking to compete, lift heavy, or train on your own schedule, we’ve got options to fit your goals.
Visiting from out of town? We’d love to have you! Drop-ins are welcome for $30 per class.
